South of Majorca

The south of Majorca is famous for its wonderful virgin beaches and isolated coves that you can enjoy all year long. They are the best place to be if you wish to take a walk and get lost in nature in winter. In summer, they turn into incredible sunbathing spots boasting turquoise blue water, typical of this part of the Mediterranean. Es Carbó and Es Cargol beaches, located next to S’Almonia and Santany coves, are a must-see for all people visiting this part of the island.

In addition, the south of Majorca boasts picturesque coastal and inland villages in which people still keep their customs and traditions: markets, local festivities, gastronomy and craftwork that will doubtlessly delight the most demanding visitors who are looking for the truest Majorca. Santanyí, Cala Figuera, Felanitx, Porto Colom or Campos are probably the best examples of real Majorcan villages.
